SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-225 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 17.14 g, 1 h), Sardes, 246-242. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo standing left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on tripod; to inner left, monogram of AN above monogram of NK. CSE 604 (this coin). SC 655.5. WSM 1315. A bright and attractive coin boldly struck on a broad flan. Minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
